Easy Ownership
- New high performance air filters/flame arrestors, custom designed for Mercury Racing by ITG, enhance engine operating efficiency and increased durability resulting in lower maintenance.
- Knock control, managed electronically by the PCM microprocessor, enables the engine to run on 87-octane fuel at a reduced power output in situations where the recommended 91-octane is not available.
Technology
- Twin-screw Lysholm superchargers require less power than traditional single-screw roots blowers.
- The Mercury PCM microprocessor continuously monitors the amount of boost needed to provide consistent 1075 horsepower in any condition or environment and varies boost accordingly.
- Innovative dry-sump engine lubrication reduces friction and adds horsepower for improved overall boat performance.
