The crew includes hardcore anglers from Wired2Fish and Angling Edge, making this trip a fishing enthusiast's dream.
The Dream Fishing Trip
Jeremy Smith, Mike Hehner, and their buddies had a dream – driving their boats to a fly-in destination to target giant Pike and, if they were lucky, catch Lake Trout during the spawn. Lawrence Bay Lodge, a full-service fly-in destination, became their base for this adventure. They brought their Lund 1875 Pro Guide and Lund 2075 Pro V Bass boats, fully loaded with tackle, rods, reels, and electronics, ready for any fishing challenge. The idea of driving to a remote fly-in lodge was born a few years back, and now, it's become a reality.
Casting for Lake Trout
Arriving in September, the team's first mission was to cast for Lake Trout. Although it was early in the season, the lake's water temperature indicated that the trout might be moving up to the shallows. Casting along rocky shorelines, they quickly found the trout staging for spawn. It was an exhilarating experience, with these beautiful fish putting up a fight.

Tackle Crafting
One of the unique aspects of this trip was tackle crafting. Jeremy, Mike, and the team collaborated with Do-It Molds to create custom jigs, blade baits, and more. They poured their own jigs, adding a personal touch to their fishing arsenal. It was a satisfying and rewarding experience.
