Mercury and friends go boating at world’s largest music festival

Mercury Marine got on the water recently with some old friends and a lot of new friends at the “World’s Largest Music Festival” – Summerfest in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Summerfest 2019 presented more than 450 bands and acts and drew nearly 900,000 festival fans. For the second consecutive year, Mercury Marine – the official engine sponsor of the 2019 Summerfest – teamed with Sea Ray boat company, Skipper Bud’s marinas and IHeartRadio to offer free boat demos on nearby Lake Michigan. During seven of those boat rides, fans were treated to free private concerts from several of the music festival’s headliners, including Dylan Scott, Brothers Osborne, Walker Hayes, Riley Green, Jimmie Allen, Filmore and Lindsay Ell. *Watch the video below to see all the highlights.

iHeart also gave away a guided fishing trip with Capt. Dale Stroschein of Wacky Walleye guide service in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin.

An onsite Mercury Marine display truck staffed by product experts featured several boating innovations by Mercury, including Joystick Piloting, VesselView Mobile and cutaway Mercury engines. Boat demos ran every day throughout the 11-day festival.
